What is a Blog –
A blog is a type of instructional website or online discussion that is made up of discrete, often informal diary-style text postings (posts). A blog is a website that displays its information in reverse chronological order wherein the latest content appear first. This means that when a blogger writes a new post, that post will get displayed on the top of the page. “Posts” or “blog posts” are generic terms for blog content. A blog’s information is provided in a more casual way or more communicative way in normal day to day life and most of the blogs are made on a particular niche or subject. Many blogs include opinions on a variety of topics, ranging from philosophy, religion, and the arts to science, politics, and sports. Others are used as more personal online journals or to promote a certain person’s or company’s brand online.
A blog, in general, combines digital images, text, articles and links to other web pages, blogs and other media related for more information on the topic. The readers have the choice to leave viewable comments by everyone visiting the blog post. The readers also have the ability to interact with other viewers or commenters, which makes it an important feature to make the blog popular.

Navigating with any web address on your browser will take you to a website which means that the popular names like Yahoo, Facebook, Google and Youtube is a website.
Websites are known by a domain name, also called as web address.
